Three-storey staff quarters in Thailand

Project Dynamics

The client, a developer of a large industrial park in Thailand, urgently needed to provide safe, comfortable, and rapidly deployable dormitories for a large influx of workers. Traditional construction methods were time-consuming, generated excessive noise, and had a severe impact on the site environment, failing to meet the project's urgency and environmental requirements.
Core Challenges
AKAY provided a highly standardized modular dormitory solution based on the client's budget and schedule requirements. By prefabricating over 90% of the structure and interior in the factory, only hoisting and minimal connection work were required on site, significantly shortening the construction cycle. At the same time, the modular design ensured the comfort, safety, and environmental protection of the dormitory.

AKAY's modular dormitory solution perfectly solved our problems of tight schedule and high demand for labor. From order placement to worker occupancy, the whole process was more than twice as fast as traditional construction, greatly ensuring the smooth progress of our industrial park project. The dormitory has complete internal facilities, and the comfort level has also been highly recognized by employees. With the growing local population, there was an urgent need to build a school as quickly as possible to accommodate more students. The client wanted to build a modern, environmentally friendly school building that could be put into use quickly, minimizing the impact on daily teaching.
Core Challenges
AKAY designed and delivered a multi-story modular school building, including functional units such as classrooms, offices, laboratories, and restrooms. Environmentally friendly materials and energy-saving designs were used to achieve green construction. The mode of factory prefabrication and rapid on-site assembly reduced the construction time to several weeks, effectively avoiding the noise and dust pollution caused by traditional construction, and ensuring that the school could be put into use in a short time.

The client planned to build a high-end outdoor camp in a remote mountainous area of Azerbaijan, requiring the buildings to withstand severe cold and complex terrain, while integrating with the natural environment to provide a unique immersive accommodation experience, and construction conditions were limited.
Core Challenges
AKAY fully considered the local climate and geographical characteristics, and provided a customized modular prefabricated house camp solution. High-strength steel structures and advanced thermal insulation materials were used to ensure comfort in extremely cold weather. Most of the modules were prefabricated in the factory, reducing on-site construction operations, minimizing the impact of on-site construction on the ecological environment, and achieving rapid hoisting and assembly.
