Back in 2012, when modular construction was still in its infancy in China, Mr. Jiannian Zheng, driven by his keen insight into future architectural trends and a spirit of innovation, resolutely founded AKAY. He recognized the inherent challenges of traditional construction methods, including inefficiency, high resource consumption, and significant environmental impact, and believed that modular, prefabricated solutions would lead the way forward.

Since its inception, AKAY has focused on the research, development, and manufacturing of container houses, prefabricated houses, and modular homes. Under Mr. Jiannian Zheng’s leadership, the AKAY team has consistently integrated innovation into every detail of their products. This is more than just production; it’s a revolution in architectural philosophy. From the exploration of the first-generation products to the technological breakthroughs of the second and third generations, and now to our proudly showcased fourth-generation modular housing products, each step embodies Mr. Zheng’s dedication to technical refinement and his profound understanding of customer needs.

From rigorous screening of raw materials to intelligent visualization and digital management of production processes, and meticulous execution of standard operating procedures in every process before leaving the factory, with manual inspection at every step, we ensure the ultimate pursuit of quality. As Mr. Jiannian Zheng often says, “When customers place their orders with AKAY, AKAY will do its utmost to fulfill their trust, which, in my understanding, is a blessing.” He also emphasizes, “Haste makes waste. The pursuit of speed is a mistake many companies make. We are deeply aware that the accumulation of corporate strength takes time,” AKAY focuses on the continuous cultivation and refinement, and never rushing for quick results.

The development history of AKAY’s manufacturing plant is a vivid embodiment of our continuous pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement.
Our Manufacturing Footprint Continues to Expand
AKAY’s manufacturing journey began in 2012 with an initial plant of approximately 5,000 square meters. This base carried AKAY’s initial dreams and was our first step into the field of modular construction.
As market demand continues to grow and we pursue higher production efficiency and product quality, AKAY’s manufacturing footprint continues to expand. After more than ten years of intensive cultivation, we are proud to announce that by 2024, AKAY’s manufacturing plant has successfully expanded to more than 15,000 square meters. The expanded production space lays a solid foundation for us to introduce more advanced equipment, optimize production processes, and achieve large-scale production.

Intelligent Manufacturing and Efficient Production Capacity
To meet the needs of global customers for large-scale production and rapid delivery, AKAY manufacturing plant has always been at the forefront of intelligent manufacturing. We invest heavily in the mechanization and automation upgrade of production lines, aiming to improve production efficiency, reduce manual errors, and ensure product consistency and high quality.
At present, we have introduced more than 50 sets of specialized production equipment, covering all links from precision cutting, precision welding, surface treatment to integrated assembly. It is worth mentioning that we are also equipped with 3 advanced powder coating production lines.
Through the integrated application of these intelligent and automated equipment, AKAY manufacturing plant has a strong large-scale production capacity, with an annual production capacity of more than 25,000 sets of container houses, which can efficiently respond to orders from around the world and promise rapid delivery.
