Akay started in 2012, built on a solid steel foundation. We’ve come a long way from just making buildings. Our big thing was creating container houses that you can take apart and put back together. We put a lot of thought into making them easier to connect and nicer to look at, and even tried out some new styles like ones that fold up or pack flat. Every new model we made was a bit better – more practical, more flexible, and kinder to the planet. Now, with our fourth generation out, we’re doing more than just making houses. We’re helping to build a greener world, one container at a time.
